Season will be May 4-June 24/26 **no soccer Monday, May 18/26**
ALL SOCCER PROGRAMS CAN ONLY RUN WITH THE HELP OF MANY VOLUNTEERS. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO COACH OR MANAGE A TEAM PLEASE REGISTER ASAP. COACHES WILL BE PROVIDED WITH LESSON PLANS AND GUIDANCE THROUGHOUT THE SEASON. MANAGERS ARE IN PLACE TO AID IN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN COACHES/KESA AND THE PARENTS. WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS OUR PROGRAMS CANNOT RUN SO PLEASE SIGN UP TO HELP OUT!! ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AND DO THE APPROPRIATE COURSE BELOW. THIS IS A BC SOCCER POLICY.
To Volunteer Please complete these 3 steps:

2. Here is the link for the CRC: Kootenay East Soccer Association : Website by RAMP InterActive every 3 years MANDATORY
3. Coaches need to do Respect in Sport: Respect in Sport for Coaches every 3 years MANDATORY
Managers need to do Safe Sport: Safe Sport for Managers every 3 years MANDATORY
Once you've completed the course online send your certificate AND receipt to our administrator Leah and she will reimburse you at: kootenayeastsoccer@gmail.com

The program goal of grass roots soccer is to provide soccer programming in a fun inclusive environment. If your child is turning 9 in 2026 or older and would like to take their soccer to the next level, please check out the KESA Spring/Summer REP/Development program where skill development and tournament play is a program goal.

Parents Please Note:
U3-U16 Players will receive a uniform kit which includes a jersey, shorts and soccer socks in the first week of soccer which is included in registration costs. Ages U3-7 will receive a Size 3 soccer ball as well, sponsored by Tim Hortons.
All House Players must wear soccer cleats and shin guards. You are also expected to not wear jewelry at all on soccer fields! Please note that these are mandatory BCSA rules. Following this protocol is necessary to protect the association from liability, and we thank you for your understanding and compliance.
COST:U3/4-$130/child plus volunteer fee U5-U12-$205/child plus volunteer fee U13-U16-$160/child plus volunteer fee *volunteer fee is $50 per family and will be refunded if a parent signs up and fulfils a coaching or managing position. Additional volunteer positions may be available throughout the season. You will not receive the $50 volunteer fee if you do not volunteer, and there is only one $50 volunteer fee per family back. If you are needing financial assistance, please click on this link: Financial Assistance ***Late registration fee of $50 will be charged for any registrations after March 31 and only if there is available space in your child's age division. No walk up registrations will be processed during the first week of soccer.*** |
KESA refund policy:
Refunds of 50% of registration fees minus admin fee, will be given with written request to the board until the 2nd week of season play upon board approval.
